Adhesion Test
Adhesion Testers is one of the most important equipment in measuring the quality of paint and attaching it to the base on which the paint has been applied. Various methods for this measure is designed into three general categories divided
method of cross-Htsh or Cross-Cut Cross Hatch / Cross Cut Method using primitive methods to obtain the adhesion of paint to help a prickly standard and glue relevant
The Pull Off Adhesion Method, which calculates the adhesive device to the surface of the sheet and the amount of force required to remove the paint.
And the Push Off Adhesion Method is similar to the
Pull Off method. Each of these methods will have its advantages and disadvantages, which we will briefly describe.
In cross-hatching method, the price of the device is cheaper and the speed is higher, but it is used for smooth surfaces with a limited thickness of about 125µm
. .
The push-off method is a relatively fast and ideal process for curved surfaces, but the high force exerted by its gauge can deform thin surfaces and is more commonly used in pipelines and metal spray coatings.
