Industrial Valves

Due to the wide and varied use of industrial valves and valves, the following are the most common types of valves, as well as accessories and types of valves.

Globe Valve

Globe valve. The name of this lion is derived from its spherical appearance. To control the flow, pressure and temperature in fluids, one of the best options is the globe valve and is usually used as a control valve or automatic valve in pipelines. The spherical valve or rose valve in its simplest form is composed of a moving disk-like part that controls the flow by being placed in a cavity called a seat. Spherical or globe valves do not wear out due to being half open, and this is the preference of this valve over other valves such as sliding and butterfly. Also, these valves are easy to maintain and are usually made of stainless steel and carbon steel.

Butterfly valve or butterfly valve

Butterfly valves are one of the simplest and at the same time the most consumed types of valves, which make it possible to disconnect and connect high flow at high speed.

The mechanism of operation of the butterfly valve is simple and in such a way that a circular disk with rotation around its central axis allows the opening or closing of the pipe path. These valves can be made of disc and body with different materials depending on the material of the passage fluid. The degree of sealing in butterfly, however, has different types and again, depending on the internal liner and mechanism, it is classified in different models.

Butterfly valves also vary in how they are connected and positioned in the fluid path. Some are connected to the desired location in the form of wafers and some in the form of flanges.

Needle or needle valve

Needle valves or needle valves, as the name implies, are used to control low flows with great precision. The shape and plug of these valves are similar to spherical or rosewood valves in that a conical cylinder gradually closes the passage of the fluid when the valve closes and the cone sinks into the built-in cavity, accurately narrowing the volume of fluid passing through. Needle valves are used in laboratories for their delicate and reliable mechanism and for controlling small amounts of fluid without the need for high speeds.

Tap the ball with or with the valve wing

Ball valves The ball valve consists of a hemispherical valve that is installed in a spherical shape that rotates or closes the fluid path by turning it 90 degrees or quarter. These valves, for example, are used in small sizes and at low pressures in domestic gas piping or hot and cold water for open or closed conditions. Proper sealing, useful life and speed in opening and closing and low pressure drop in the passage of fluid are some of the advantages of using this type of valve.

Sliding valve or gate valve

The gate valve uses the simplest and oldest mechanism to control fluid flow. For a long time, to control the flow of water in the stream, a rectangular valve was used, which was placed on both sides in a grooved frame. In these valves, the valve sliding valve, which can have rectangular or round shapes, is stopped in the groove of the fluid passage seat, and vice versa, when this sliding valve reaches its highest position, the fluid continues its path without any resistance and pressure drop. These valves in the industry are usually in the form of flanges and gaskets or gaskets are used to prevent leakage. Due to the fact that the fluid passage does not have a linear and specific relationship with the opening of the valve drawer, ordinary sliding valve can not be used for complete control of fluid passage except for specially designed items, and most gate valves are used in fully closed or open state.

Diaphragm valve

Diaphragm valve is made of a body with inlet and outlet ports, which can be blocked by pressure on the diaphragm embedded in it. Diaphragms are usually made of flexible rubber, which depending on the design and use can be very resistant to corrosion and erosion. In diaphragm valves, since the arm closure mechanism is separate from the diaphragm and the ports, complete sealing is established, except in cases where the diaphragm is perforated. Initially, diaphragm valves were designed for use in the food and health industries, and in cases where the fluid is corrosive, such as acids or even abrasives such as cement, rubber or diaphragm valves can be used. Diaphragm valves are generally divided into two categories: weir and straight-way.

One-way milk or check valve

Non-return or check valves, as the name implies, are valves that allow fluid to flow in only one direction and are used in many cases, such as domestic and industrial applications, for example, to allow water to enter the valve. The side of the building is placed so that in case of water cut, the amount of water stored in household appliances and inside the pipes does not return to the main pipe or he puts the inlet pipe of water heaters which store water inside the building due to water cut or breakage. Do not empty the heater water tank. Because the furnace may continue to work and cause the water heater to burn, and also in refineries, a one-way valve is placed on the outlet pipe of the pump, which after transferring the required amount of petroleum products, and closing the pump or emergency shutdown of the pump can not send materials. Come back. The check valve includes input and output ports for fluid input and output unilaterally without the need for external control. One of the most important factors in choosing a check valve is the minimum pressure to operate the check valve. In terms of check mechanism, different models such as ball check valve or ball and diaphragm check valve or diaphragm check swing check valve or tilting disc check valve or disc and stop-check valve, lift-check valve, duckbill valve.

Safety valve or even valve

Safety valves are valves with a pressure mechanism in which increasing the pressure by a certain amount causes the valve to open and drain the material to reach normal pressure. For example, in tank water heaters with boilers and pressure tanks at the top of the tank, a safety valve is used to prevent the tank from exploding due to rising temperature and tank pressure. Large amounts of liquid or gaseous content that has been altered by heat (evaporation of liquids or expansion of gases) must be removed. Safety valves or relief valves are produced in different types and mechanisms depending on the gas or liquid and the type of application. Materials that are liquid fluids are usually known as relief valves or drain valves.

Thermostatic valve or temperature control valve

Temperature or thermostatic valves are an example of automatic or control valves that with the help of their temperature actuator are able to control the flow and therefore the desired temperature. In fact, a thermostatic actuator is used in these valves, and as the process temperature heats up and increases at the sensor location of this actuator and the liquid pressure device inside it, the moving part of the valve is commanded to close the path.

Pressure regulator or valve

PRESSURE REDUCING VALVE regulator or in order to adjust and reduce line pressure is usually designed after high pressure tanks and are very useful with different designs. For example, in household gas cylinders, without such a milk, it was not possible to use gas safely and easily. Regulators are also widely used in industry and are produced in different forms and mechanisms. In most mechanisms, the presence of a spring or weight and an adjustable valve is used by directing the pressure of the high pressure tank to a chamber and pressing on the mentioned element and moving the moving part in the opposite direction or closing the valve to reduce the pressure. May be.
Pressure relief valve or pressure regulating valve can be installed near the building water meter after branching from the main city water pipe to reduce high pressures and changes in city water pressure. This valve can be called a fully automatic device, because it has a special structure for making changes and reducing pressure, which does this without transferring energy. These valves have a special pressure adjusting screw by which the outlet pressure of the valve is adjusted.
