Sound Meter
A sound level meter or sound level meter can be referred to as a set of equipment used to measure and record various sound parameters such as sound intensity, tone and tone, which is the same as the frequency or pitch of the sound. The human ear can hear 20 to 20,000 Hz. It is a sound wave. In fact, the human ear can naturally hear at normal decibels, as shown below. Normal speech is 60 decibels (one tenth of a decibel per bell), and 120 decibels when a jet breaks the sound barrier. It should be noted that 140 dB is the level of sound pressure, which we call the painful threshold. That is, exposure to this sound pressure will cause pain in the human ear.
Sound intensity is one of the physical properties of sound. The louder the sound, the more energy we hear, and the louder we feel the sound. Loudness is defined by the equivalent of sound energy, which per unit time per unit area perpendicular to the direction of propagation.
They use the volume level to evaluate the volume relative to the intensity of the bases. The level of sound intensity is the human perception of the loudness and slowness of a sound, which is measured in the form of a logarithm of sound intensity relative to the base intensity in base 10 and given by Raban and measured with a unit called Bell (B). The phone is named.
Sound Level Meter or Sound Level Meter is usually used in environments that have noise pollution and to display the sound intensity in the surrounding environment. Loud or quiet; High pitch, low pitch or any bandwidth; Intermittent or continuous.
It is used to measure sound levels in factories, schools, offices, and airplanes, or to study the acoustic properties of stadium facilities, lecture halls, and amphitheaters.
In analog sound intensity models, a large hand is installed to quickly measure sound in any environment. In digital models, a sensor such as a microphone is installed in the device.
