S-type load cell, also known as Z-type load cell in some cases, is one of the most popular types of load cell. These load cells can be used in many cases and for use in most places in-line or online, which converts traction and in some cases pressure to electrical signals and data, instead of spring or other hardware in the line. Load cells can be found in most weights. S-type load cells are popular among existing load cells in terms of high accuracy, low price and ease of installation. But because S-type load cells are designed for in-line users, they can be sensitive to torque, overload, and non-core shocks. Therefore, avoid off-center loading to have the best performance and long life.
