Temperature and thermometry are very important topics in industrial processes. In fact, fewer control processes without temperature control can be considered. Depending on the temperature range and type of application, various methods are used to measure it.
These methods can be categorized as contact and non-contact. The contact method actually uses the contact of a sensor, which can be a thermocouple or thermoresistance (PT100) . This method of measurement in analog models is mostly done by bimetal or gas-filled method, which is made of a bubble and capillary tube, which is known as a gas thermometer or thermometer. Non-contact
measurement method is mostly based on the amount of infrared radiation that the target object emits to the environment. These thermometers are called pyrometers orRifle or Lysine thermometers are popular. The reason for using the word laser is to use a laser beam of light to identify the target.
In this category of equipment, we can also mention the types of controllers that are designed for temperature, also known as PID controllers . This method of temperature control is much more advanced than the examples of older thermostats.
Temperature in our country is measured on the scale of degrees Celsius, however, in some countries where other scales such as Fahrenheit are very common, and also in physical equations, the Kelvin scale is usually used.
