Indicator
In the field of instrumentation, a device called an indicator is used to display the values of the physical parameters of the process to the operator and users of an industrial unit, which usually do not have a task such as transmitting or controlling values similar to a transmitter. A simple example of this instrument is the Burdoni pressure gauge or barometer or temperature indicators of the bimetal hand thermometers. In more advanced tools, you will have digital models with the ability to record maximum and minimum values or some more features. In instrumentation maps, the suffix I, which stands for indicator, is used, such as PI, which means pressure indicator, which is the same as barometer.
