S Type Thermocouple

Type S thermocouples are offered in the half and 35 mm wire cross section and are from the German company Johnson Matthey or Degosa. Alsinite or pitograss ceramics can be used for the pods of these thermocouples according to the desired temperature range. Due to the high temperature tolerance of type S thermocouples, it is usually used in furnaces and high temperatures. If the distance between the thermocouple and the monitoring site and recorders is large, a suitable temperature transmitter should be used. Note that for installation, flange or gear connections can be used to connect the thermocouple to the thermocouple or installation site.
