To connect the thermocouple wires to the compensation wire or the transmitter, to send the temperature values ​​in the form of current to the control room, the head terminal is used, or in the market, a suitable head is used. The thermocouple head is available in different models depending on the environmental conditions as well as being explosive or the need to install a transmitter. For example, in some models of these terminal heads, you have a glass window to view the indicator temperature. In other models, you need a non-metallic and polyamide head terminal due to the presence of acid vapors, or in some models, due to the presence of explosive gases, an explosion-proof head must be used.
