Deffrential Pressure Gauge
What is the difference between pressure gauges or differential pressure gauges? Analog or hand differential pressure gauges are used to measure the pressure difference between two filter heads or in HVAC systems, ducts, clean rooms, etc. One of the most famous analog models is the Magnetic model of the American company Dwyer. These Pressure gauges also switch on some output materials and are used to control low pressure differences and usually have a pressure difference in Pascal or millibar range.
Also in hydraulic models, either these differential pressure gauges or DP gauges are used to monitor the clean or dirty condition of the filter, which will have higher loads depending on the application.
In the cheaper models of these pressure difference gauges, a piston mechanism is used, which you can see the general shape of this DP gauge model below.
